Health Services Training:  The American Red Cross holds training courses in infant, child, and adult CPR, first aid, CPR/AED, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, babysitting, lifeguard training, sports safety, and other lifesaving skills.  Instructor level training as well as online courses are also available.  Contact (800) REDCROSS for more information.Disaster Training:  As part of the American Red Cross Disaster Services response team, volunteers learn how to provide emergency food, clothing, shelter and assistance with medical needs to victims of fire or other disasters including flood, hurricane, tornado, chemical spill, explosion, etc.  This training is free and imposes no obligation on the participants to serve.  Contact Volunteer Services at (302) 472-6240 for more information. Community Disaster Education:  The American Red Cross provides training on how to prepare a home and family for any kind of disaster.  Training includes important tips for each type of disaster, warning information, and how to stay safe during and after a disaster strikes.  These seminars are available free to community and civic groups.  Contact Volunteer Services at (302) 472-6240 for more information.
