But... is it Art? Summer Camp
Program Description
This camp explores all the types of art that make you think “wait… but….. is it art?” We hear you when you say “my kid could do that” and now they can! Campers will explore unconventional methods, movements, and media of the Modern and Contemporary Periods while wading into the discourses of the academic art world. Is destruction art? Is it too simple? Why is this in a museum? What makes art bad? If you copy someone else is it yours? Can a chair be art? Let your camper decide.
