Program Description
Did you know that the Caesar Rodney School District is home to several Outdoor Classrooms including the Educational Freshwater Wetlands Pond, the Purple Martin Landlord nesting colony, the Archeology Exploratorium, the Native Plant Nursery, the Resource Education and Advocacy Project, and a growing network of organic Community Gardens? Join us this summer as we learn-by-doing in these unique spaces. Learn how to use new tools, and experience how hands-on, meaningful, community environmental education helps us learn more about the value of local ecosystem resources and our cultural connections to the land.
