Marine Science

Program Description

This one-week camp, run at the University of Delaware’s College of Earth, Ocean and Environment, explores the coastal marine environment. Observe the coastal waterways by kayak, catch croakers and pipefish with a seine net, get muddy with the crabs in the Great Salt Marsh, and catch a dogfish in a trawl net if you’re lucky! This camp gets you outside, experiencing Delaware’s marine environment like a scientist. Students will be transported to Lewes from Cab Calloway. Residential camp takes place Mon-Fri in Lewes DE
