Steel Drums
Program Description
Students will learn to play steel drums from Trinidad. We will play typical steel pan music from the Caribbean, plus some other fun songs from many different cultures. Students will learn about the pan, where it came from; how it was developed, and how the pans are made. We will end the week with a performance of the songs learned in camp.
