Love color? Love creating? Love making magic with a little color, a little imagination, and a very different type of art medium from what you are used to. Paper quilling is the art of rolling narrow strips of paper into coils or scrolls, and arranging them to form intricate layers or filigree. The practice of quilling dates back hundreds of years to the Renaissance but has had a recent resurgence. Create gorgeous artwork using the vibrant colors of Alcohol Inks, a splash of rubbing alcohol, and something to ink on – ceramic tiles, Yupo paper, metal, and glass. This is an easy medium to work with and will provide you with surprises when the inks mix and mingle. Magic happens when the alcohol is sprayed or squirted or dribbled onto the inks. You’ll be surprised and delighted with your inking and will be able to complete several projects during our week with Alcohol Ink Gone Wild.
