UrbanPromise Summer Camp

Program Description

Summer camps run for six weeks each summer and include arts & crafts, songs, skits, recreation, Bible lessons, and educational enrichment including 1:1 tutoring as part of the United Way Learning Pod Collaborative. Children are served both breakfast and lunch. Staff are assisted by summer interns who choose to spend their summer vacations teach lessons and building relationships with children and their families. Through living and working in the inner city, interns have the opportunity to experience urban life and challenge and grow their faith.
