PIC Community Doula Program
Circular design elements

The PIC Community Doula Program provides doula support for Medicaid recipients and low-income individuals across the state of Delaware at no cost. The program is sponsored by a grant from Healthy Women, Healthy Babies and is designed to address disparities in maternal health outcomes for women and infants in communities of color. Participants in the program will receive a minimum of 3 prenatal visits, access to childbirth and lactation education, continuous labor support, and 2 postpartum visits. In addition to direct service, our doulas also serve as resource navigators to connect families with available support for needs such as food, clothing, and newborn care items.
