Variety of parenting education programs that meet the needs of those in parenting roles.  These programs consist of:”The Strengthening Families Program” is a family skills training program for parents and their children.  The goal is to teach parents/caregivers to communicate emotional support and practice consistent discipline.  “Healthy Families America/Smart Start” strives to provide parents an opportunity to get the education and support they need at the time their baby is born, and until their child turns three.”Delaware’s Nurse-Family Partnership Initiative” helps change the lives of vulnerable first time mothers and babies through intensive home visiting by registered nurses.”Delaware Cares” presents seminars for divorcing or separating parents and their children.”Functional Family Therapy” is an evidence-based treatment model for youth, between the ages of 10 and 18, and their families who are struggling with behavioral problems and family conflict.”Intensive Outpatient Counseling Services (IOP)” for youth and their families inKent & Sussex Counties. Our IOP program offers a unique combination of individual and family therapy in conjunction with case management.
