Big Brothers/Big Sisters offers two programs. In the Community-Based Program, adult volunteer mentors are matched with children from single-parent families enrolled into the program between the ages 6-14 (at time of application) for friendly supportive goal-oriented relationships. Once enrolled children are able to be matched up to 18 years old. Volunteers spend 2-4 visits per month with a child. In the School-Based Program, adult volunteer mentors offer support and assistance to a student one hour/week in the school during school hours. (Not available at all schools.)
