Department of Labor, State Summer Youth Program
Circular design elements

The Delaware State Summer Youth Program provides summer employment experiences for youth ages 14 – 20.  All projects employing youth are designed for a four to ten week period between June and September.  All employment experiences provide youth a meaningful and productive work experience while gaining exposure to the working world and its requirements. Please Note:  The Department of Labor does not run the Summer Youth Program.  Summer Youth Providers in your area are responsible for recruitment and the application process. For questions relating to DE Child Labor Laws and work permits, please contact the Division of Industrial Affairs, Labor Law Enforcement at (302) 451-3423.
