The Division of Human Relations provides administrative, fiscal, and clerical support for the State Human Relations Commission. The Division of Human Relations investigates, negotiates, conciliates and settles housing and equal accommodation complaints. Human Relations acts as a conciliator in matters involving discrimination and human relations statewide, evaluates compliance with it’s Affirmative Action Plan and investigates unlawful discrimination and racial and cultural tension in communities. Human Relations promotes applicable relations among all racial and ethnic groups, conducts seminars, and investigates incidents of hate and hate violence.
