The Bureau of Epidemiology is responsible for the collection, analysis and monitoring of all infectious diseases in Delaware.  The Bureau is also responsible for the investigation and coordination of investigations of disease outbreaks and clusters.  An epidemiologist is on call 24/7 to respond to emergent public health matters.
