Foulk Manor North is located in north Wilmington and offers a continuum of care that includes Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing. There is a 14-day minimum stay for both Independent and Assisted Living clients. A secure unit is available in the Assisted Living area. A wide variety of floor plans are offered from single room efficiencies to two-bedroom cottages. Amenities include a dining room with table service, weekly housekeeping, transportation to appointments or activities, and stimulating on-site activities. There is a Happy Hour daily for residents to enjoy social activities. Pets are welcome if the individual can care for the pet. Services available include: – housekeeping – laundry – social activities – exercise room – local transportation – van service – medical services – medical administration – medication reminders – daily meals – beauty/barber shop – respite careAll utilities except telephone and cable are included. A health center is available to residents requiring skilled care. Medicare B is accepted, not Medicare Part A and only for therapy. If a resident needs coverage under Medicare Part A, they would be transferred to another facility. Respite care is available to families who want a safe place for a family member to stay for a limited time. A one week advance notice is required. A minimum stay of 7-14 days is requested. Please inquire about special arrangements that apply to respite care. For additional information and to arrange a tour of the facility, please call the admissions office.
