Council advises the Governor, the General Assembly, the Board of Education, and other State agencies concerning the needs of individuals with disabilities. As the Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA) advisory panel for Delaware, the Council monitors programming and provides advice on behalf of students in special education and also students who are gifted and talented.
