Hanover Presbyterian Church supports a community food pantry and clothing closet. There is also a licensed childcare center in the building called Open Arms Academy and a nonprofit 501(c)(3) called Jefferson Street Center, Inc., which is focused on community revitalization. Hanover has a gym and offers free Zumba classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
