Division of Medicaid and Medical Assistance (DMMA) – The Long-Term Care Ombudsman is an impartial fact-finder who assures that individuals living in long-term care facilities or family care homes licensed by the State receive quality of care and are treated with dignity and respect as prescribed in the Patient Bill of Rights.  They investigate complaints from residents of long-term care facilities or their families regarding violations of these rights and advocates for improving the quality of life for residents of such facilities.
