New Castle County Carousel Park offers 217 acres with an array of recreational activities offering something for everyone!  Activities include: fishing; pony rides; riding instruction; and birthday parties (indoors or out).  There are winter and spring hayrides with bonfires as well as spring nature hayrides which offer an educational experience mixed with fun for school children to enjoy learning about the wonders of nature and the magnificence and beauty of the horse.  Also there is a spring and summer equestrian camp and spring series of horse shows.
