The Senior Minor Home Repair program is a grant program providing small home repairs to income-eligible homeowners in New Castle County outside of the City of Newark and Wilmington. (Newark and Wilmington residents should call their city offices for information on programs available to them.) The repairs provided are ones that impact the health, safety and security of the occupant. Examples: minor plumbing, step or railing repair, minor electrical repairs and smoke alarm installation. Funding amount available per home: $500 – $2500. Funding is limited and is on a first come, first served basis.Note:  There is currently a waiting list for this program.
