NEW START Adult Learning Program provides one-to-one and small groups tutoring in basic reading, writing, and math skills for adults. NEW START Adult Learning Program also provides one-to-one and small groups tutoring in listening, speaking, reading, and writing for non-English speaking students. Tutoring is provided by a trained volunteer at a time and place convenient to both the tutor and student. Instruction is offered to adults and out-of-school youth in lower New Castle County who need help with basic skills, GED preparation, or English as a Second Language.
