The Public Service Commission (PSC) is authorized by the Delaware General Assembly to regulate investor-owned utilities providing electric, natural gas, water, wastewater and telephone services for public use within the State of Delaware. The PSC also regulates cable television service provided by companies in the unincorporated areas of the state.The PSC authority does not extend to municipally owned utilities or cable television companies operated or franchised by Delaware municipal governments.
