The Child Services Department of the Salvation Army operates a child care, after school program and summer day camp.The Child Care Center for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years is offered 5 days/week, 52 weeks/year which is licensed by the State of Delaware and includes daily schedules, lesson plans, progress reports, monthly parent newsletter, three meals(breakfast, lunch and snacks), a day and annual field trips.Children ages 5 to 12 years old may participate in the After School Program throughout the school year. After school snacks (lunches on half days), educational activities, help with homework, physical fitness and field trips are included.The Summer Day Camp is offered for children 7 to 11 years of age which operates from the last week of June through mid-August. The program includes field trips on Tuesdays & Thursdays and arts & crafts, games and school work review on Fridays.
