The Solid and Hazardous Waste Management Program assures that hazardous waste generated, transported, treated or disposed in Delaware is properly handled; and that infectious, sanitary, industrial, and dry wastes are handled in an environmentally safe manner. Staff tracks waste from generation through final disposal and monitors proper management of hazardous and solid waste by permitting and inspecting facilities.
