Administers recreation centers, parks, playgrounds and swimming pools in Wilmington. Also organizes a variety of sports and recreation activities and youth services. Department goals are to coordinate, plan, operate & promote comprehensive recreation/leisure/education programs for the citizens of Wilmington and to maintain, improve and develop lands & facilities in its jurisdiction.
