21st Century Community Learning Centers provide academic enrichment opportunities during non-school hours for children, particularly students who attend high-poverty and low-performing schools. The program helps students meet state and local academic standards in core academic subjects, such as reading and math; offers students a broad array of enrichment activities that can complement their regular academic programs; and offers literacy and other educational services to the families of participating children.

Youth ages 10-14 will have the opportunity to experience hands-on learning activities with University of Delaware Cooperative Extension staff. Topics include Agriculture Education and careers, Horticulture and gardening, Nutrition and food safety, Poultry, Plant and Soil science, Entomology, 4-H healthy living, and science activities.
Engagement, Healthy Living and Science. Activities include guest presenters, traditional people groups, singing camp songs, yells and skits. The camp will provide drinks and t-shirts. Campers will need to bring their lunch daily. Space is limited, register early.
