GirlCYCLE Summer Camp is a hands-on adventure camp for female-identifying youth. Like our flagship Build-A-Bike camp, youth will build a bicycle that they get to take home at the end of camp, starting with a frame and a box of parts. Youth will also explore leadership through outdoor adventures like mountain biking, urban farming, and art projects in a supportive, female-centered environment. Includes a refurbished bicycle. This camp does not require prior knowledge of bicycle mechanics. Campers should know how to ride a bicycle, but experience riding distances is not required. Campers can be dropped off at 8:30am and picked up at 4:30pm from Urban Bike Project’s shop at 1500 N. Walnut Street each day.
This program is available to children no matter where they live or go to school. If you have additional questions or want to learn more, please contact our team. We'd be happy to assist you!
