"Rowing 101 Summer Camps are designed for kids ages 13 - 18 who have never rowed and think that they might like to try something new. The sport of rowing not only builds athleticism in a fun environment, but also determination, focus, leadership, and teamwork. There are two seperate camp sessions and youth can join one or both. Coaches work closely with rowers on ergometers, in WYRA’s indoor rowing tanks, and on the water in our 60’ racing shells. This is a great opportunity to decide if crew is for you! Unfortunately the restaurant that used to provide us with lunches has closed, so campers will now need to bring a bag lunch. A cook-out and races on the Christina River are held the last day of camp."

The Row For It camp is designed for youth, grades 6 - 8, who are searching for a fun sports experience during the summer. It is a great introduction to the "Ultimate Team Sport" of rowing.
Camp program has weekly themes and activities are planned each day centered around that particular theme. Campers also participate in pool activities each day. Camp goes off-site twice per week, once to the beach and the other on pre-planned field trips. Every Monday/Wednesday/Friday campers have D.E.A.R., which is Drop Everything…
Summer Camp Runs 5 days a week, 7 AM to 6 PM . There are themes weeks with enrichment activities focused on the theme, sports, games, fitness, health and nutrition's, social emotional learning, field trips, swim programs.
