Centerville Layton School is pleased to provide a summer program that offers students academic support and instruction in preparation for the upcoming school year. Serving PK through 12
Summer Camp Runs 5 days a week, 7 AM to 6 PM . There are themes weeks with enrichment activities focused on the theme, sports, games, fitness, health and nutrition's, social emotional learning, field trips, swim programs.
Youth ages 10-14 will have the opportunity to experience hands-on learning activities with University of Delaware Cooperative Extension staff. Topics include Agriculture Education and careers, Horticulture and gardening, Nutrition and food safety, Poultry, Plant and Soil science, Entomology, 4-H healthy living, and science activities.
In this camp, youth learn bicycle mechanics by building a bike starting with just a frame and a box of parts. At the end of camp, campers go home with the bike they built. Campers also spend time exploring the connection between volunteerism and healthy communities, and participate in a…
