CASA volunteers are Court Appointed Special Advocates for children. Volunteers are trained and appointed by a judge to speak for abused and neglected children in court. CASAs conduct independent investigations and provide reports/recommendations to the Court on behalf of the child. CASAs are represented by attorneys in Court and are supervised by program staff.
