DGS’ Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) provides statewide crisis services for children in immediate danger of hurting themselves and/or others, or who are experiencing significant stress unable to be managed by the family. Services include 24-hour mobile crisis intervention, short-term crisis stabilization, and referral to appropriate long-term services. MRSS is instrumental in diverting children and adolescents from hospitalization. Services are accessible 24-hours a day, 365 days a year for children and teens age 2-18 who are at risk of harm to themselves or others and who may be experiencing a mental health crisis.
