ADAP is a Ryan White Program providing statewide treatment and care services to people living with HIV/AIDS. Through the AIDS Drug Assistance Program individuals affected by HIV are provided access to high cost medications. ADAP also provides therapeutic programs to treat HIV disease or prevent serious deterioration of health, arising from HIV disease in eligible individuals. Through ADAP clients can receive medications for HIV and its related conditions regardless of insurance status. They may also participate in the adherence program to make sure that medications are taken properly and regularly. Any HIV patients who need assistance paying for medical insurance premiums may be eligible for an Insurance Continuation program that would assist patients with their premiums.
