FISH of Northern Delaware provides transportation to appointments for ambulatory individuals who are no further south than Route 40 in Newark, when all other potential means of transportation have been exhausted. Transportation is also available for Kinship care. If a senior is raising another relative’s child and need transportation for child appointments, FISH can transport the child or children for their appointment. All children must be accompanied by an adult during transportation. The adult also must provide a car seat or booster seat when required by law. They do not accommodate clients scheduled for dialysis treatment and/or the same client several times per week. Requests for transportation must be called in one week in advance of the appointment by 3pm. Service is based on availability of drivers.
