This office handles statewide referral process for the following Medicaid programs: Nursing Home Program, Elderly & Disabled Home-Based Waiver Program, Assisted Living Waiver Program, and the Children’s Community Alternative Disability Program. The QMB (Qualified Medicare Beneficiary) program will pay the Medicare Part A and B premiums, deductibles, and coinsurance expenses. Also, Medicaid provides the Specified Low Income Medicare Beneficiaries (SLMBs) and Qualifying Individuals (QI-1s) and (QI-2s) programs. This office handles pre-admission screening statewide.
