The Victim Assistance Program serves victims of crimes committed in New Castle County. The Program offers advocacy, crisis intervention, supportive counseling, information, referrals and provides information about case status, assistance in filing violent crimes compensation forms, accompaniment to court, referrals to social service agencies and private counselors, and information and help understanding the criminal justice system.
