The United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development mission is to improve the quality of life and increase economic opportunity in rural America.  Rural Development offers more than 40 programs that can help address the problems with aging infrastructure, sustainable agriculture, access to affordable housing, the creation and retention of businesses and inadequate public services.
