Centrally located in the City of Wilmington, this cluster of parks offers opportunities for recreation, education, and sports and community events.  Connected by trails, these parks are the perfect place to relax, hike, picnic, or just enjoy the beauty of the famous Brandywine River.The main areas of Wilmington State Parks are:      Brandywine Park (including the Brandywine Zoo and Baynard Stadium);     Rockford Park;     H. Fletcher Brown Park; and     Alapocas Woods Natural Area.Hours:  Parks – 8 a.m. to sunsetParking lots:  8 a.m. to sunsetBrandywine Zoo:  10 a.m. to 4 p.m. dailyFees:  No park entrance fee is required, however, Brandywine Zoo does collect an admission fee.  Fees may be required for admission to events held at the park or at Baynard Stadium, or to reserve areas for large groups or private events.
