Woodlea Apartments offers subsidized housing for those 62 and older. New Castle County has a meal program available Monday through Friday to no less then 10 Woodlea residents. Residents enjoy home style cooking through this program. The meals are approved by a registered dietician and meet at least one-third of an adult’s recommended daily allowance of nutrients. Special meals for restricted diets, Kosher, and ethnic foods are also available. If a minimum of ten residents do not sign up for the program then it is not provided. Outside agencies are welcome to visit residents for daily assistance at the resident’s expense. Please call for further information on Woodlea.
